NEED HELP? 888-589-1853
GadgetShack is pleased to offer another option in home intercom systems. Our Basic Home Intercom system works up to 1500 ft.* and uses the existing wiring in your home or business. There is no need to install cables or wiring! This system is fully expandable to an unlimited number of intercom stations. You may also choose between 2, 3, or 4 channel systems in any configuration that fits your needs. (Please choose desired quantity from the drop-down menu above, then click the add-to-cart button). Why buy different channel intercoms in the same system? When you set the intercom to a channel, A, B, C or D, the intercom can communicate privately with other intercoms set to the same channel. Presetting an intercom on a specific channel also allows you to set individual stations or groups of stations. When you want to call a certain group or individual intercom, you simply switch your intercom to the corresponding channel. Having different channel intercoms in the same system can help you organize your home or office. For example, in your home you may have the "Two Channel" intercom system in the bedrooms set to channel A and B, but your office and work space uses the "Three Channel" intercom set to channel C. This allows you to limit access from the bedrooms so that you are not disturbed while working. * Although line of site is not required, the maximum range and quality is based on your electrical wiring. This system does require that all the intercoms be plugged into electrical outlets that are all wired to the same breaker box and contained on the same main electrical circuit. I was surprised that the signal traveled through my electrical outlets, but it works great in my house. 0.3By: Laura Gallegos Elko, NevadaThe three units work great. The building is metal so we think the clarity may not be optimum. But once I turned up the volume you could hear very well. 0.3By: Raquel Ayala San Francisco, CAThe oh so simple system does not work if you don’t have the same electrical current running in each room. I will be returning the product. 0.3By: William Chinn Upper Marlboro, MdVery Satisfied 0.3By: Kelly Williams Kenora ONThis system is working well in our childcare program. 0.3Good value By: tom wallace bowling green, mo.for our application here at our power plant the intercom system is very sufficient. They are manufactured by WestingHouse. What does it mean when you say these all have to be on the "same circuit"? The "same circuit" is referring to all of the units being plugged into standard electrical outlets that are all wired to the same breaker/fuse box in your home or office. | ||||
