Designing your perfect 600 ft. range alarm systemWith so many different sensors and receivers it can be difficult to choose what will work best for you. First, think about how many outside areas need protection- locations such as driveways, gates, barns, garages, and patios. Next, decide the type of sensor you need outside, whether you would like to detect people and vehicles or just vehicles. The Outdoor Infrared Motion Sensors are perfect for detecting people as well as vehicles, whereas the Hose Sensor and Probe Sensor are perfect for detecting vehicles only.

You can also integrate Doorbell Push Buttons into your system for your entries or out buildings, allowing people to notify you of their presence.

Now you can focus on the inside of your home. Our Indoor Motion Sensors are perfect for common areas that may be unoccupied at night such as kitchens, family rooms, and living rooms. They also work well inside garages, barns, and/or pool houses. With a wider viewing angle and adjustable detection distance, our indoor motion sensors allow you to cover up to 30 ft of detection area.

Finally, choose where and how you need to be alerted inside your home or around your property. The most common places for Receivers are in kitchens, family rooms, master bedrooms, and workshops. You can also choose a Portable Receiver which can easily be placed in your pocket- perfect for people working in back rooms, outside gardens, or around their property.

The schematic below is an example of a two-bedroom home configuration. The customers wanted to be alerted when vehicles entered their driveway. They wanted motion detection around their front and back doors as well. They decided to install a Probe Sensor (PS) in the driveway with two Outdoor Infrared Motion Sensors (S) covering both the back and front of their home. They also opted to include a Doorbell Push Button (DB) on the front entry. Inside, they protected their living room, dining room, and garage with Indoor Motion Sensors (MS). Finally, they chose to include Receivers (R) in two areas of their home: the kitchen and master bedroom.

* Although line of site is not required, the maximum range is based on optimal conditions with minimal interference. Wireless range is affected by objects such as walls, trees, etc. Actual range may vary, depending on environment.
