125 ft. Hardwired Vehicle Probe Sensor
The 125 ft. Hardwired Vehicle Probe Sensor System is an extremely reliable driveway alarm that is used to detect vehicles only. The probe is buried parallel to (not across) the driveway and will detect vehicles passing by within approximately 10-12 feet. Once the probe has detected a vehicle moving it will send a signal through the line to the control box which will sound a whistle.
The control box simply plugs into a 110-volt outlet and has an on/off switch on the top of the box. There is a set of contacts to connect the two wires from the probe, as well as a set of 12-volt DC (500mA max) contacts. The voltage output can be used to operate sirens, bells, or a light timer. Everything is color coded and labeled for easy reference. The whistle and voltage output are adjustable for 2, 4 or 8 seconds.
