No more dealing with cell phones that receive spotty service! Talk airtime-free with our MURS frequency, or acquire an FCC license to use this radio on a private VHF frequency, saving you money. This radio even has NOAA weather scan capability to make you aware of dangerous weather conditions.
Authorized by the FCC, MURS is a license-free service that allows the user to transmit voice and data. MURS also allows a maximum of 2 watts of output power which means greater range than other license-free radio services.
Please note: The Commercial Base Station Radio cannot be used by itself, but is sold separately as one single unit. It must be used in conjunction with either another Commercial Base Station Radio or with any of our MURS line of intercoms including our Commercial Hand-Held Radios, intercom base stations, hand-held radio walkie-talkies, call boxes, or our PA system for mobile communication while you are traveling around your property. The MURS wireless intercom system is fully digital and offers high quality sound and secure connections.
* Although line of site is not required, the maximum range is based on optimal conditions with minimal interference. Wireless range is affected by objects such as walls, trees, etc. Actual range may vary, depending on environment.
