4-Mile Range MURS Driveway Alarm w/ Hand Held Radio

The MURS (Multi-Use Radio Service) Alert offers the ability to monitor activity at remote locations. The MURS Alert sensor utilizes passive infrared sensor technology that will send an alert signal to the MURS hand held radio receiver in order to notify you that someone has entered a monitored area. If you purchase additional sensors, each MURS Alert sensor is capable of sending four different alert messages to the hand held radio receiver so that separate zones can be monitored at the same time. When an alert signal is received from the sensor, the hand held radio will sound off with the voice of the alert signal and will also display an alert icon as a visual display that an alert signal has been received. MURS Alert will give you real time monitoring of remote locations up to four miles away (actual range will vary depending on the local terrain). The MURS Alert has many different applications; it can be used by security guards, small businesses and also by hunters monitoring game trails- any scenario that requires immediate notification when someone or something enters a monitored location. Authorized by the FCC, MURS is a license free service that allows the user to transmit voice and data. MURS also allows a maximum of 2 watts of output power. This means greater range than other license free radio services.

The MURS Alert driveway alarm security system & driveway monitor includes one motion sensor and one hand held radio receiver. An unlimited number of additional infrared motion sensors may be purchased and added to each receiver, allowing you to cover multiple locations at once. The receiver can be set to sound off four distinct beeps so you know which area a sensor is picking up motion from. You can also purchase additional hand held radios or base stations and set the motion sensor to alert multiple receivers simultaneously.
