Motion lights are becoming more and more prevalent for businesses and homes which desire a bit more security, or simply needing a light turned on automatically when you arrive home. One drawback to the average motion-activated light is how the sensor is mounted on the lamp. Often times, they will only activate when someone is already close to the light. Here is where our wireless sensors come in handy!
The wireless stake sensor can be up to 100 ft.* away from the light, and has an adjustable sensing range of 360 degrees at 70 ft. The stake sensor sticks into the ground using a 6-12 inch stake. When the sensor detects motion, the light installed on your building will automatically activate, alerting that someone is home or lighting up a path for 1 or 5 minutes. Each sensor can also activate multiple lights, you may also have as many sensors connected to your system as you need. The stake sensor runs on solar panel that charges an internal NiMH rechargeable battery.
Other features of this system include a DualBright mode that allows you to set the intensity of your light on the sensor itself. So, one sensor can activate the light at half power, but another sensor can activate the light at full power. For example, you could program a sensor on the driveway to activate at half power when you are getting home, and have another sensor activate at full power where an intruder might enter.
An AlertFlash is an extra security feature that makes your lights flash 2 times then stay on for a set time. This will bring attention to an intruder that someone might be present.
Having continuous security lighting around your home or business can be costly and inefficient. Adding our motion-activated lighting will allow your security lights to turn on automatically when they are needed.
Please note: This light fixture hard wires into your electrical system. In most cases you will simply remove your existing fixture and replace it with the motion activated light. In some cases, you may need an electrician or technician to install the light.
